I’ve never had a problem with a slot machine rejecting a bill I’ve tried to insert, but it seems almost always that a vending machine will reject the bill, why is this?

I’ve noticed that it seems like a (US) casino’s slot machine will accept any US currency no matter the conditon. It seems to take new and old tattered bills alike, inserted in any direction. Yet common vending machines are very picky as to the dollars that they take.

I play slot machine. I am getting to learn that little money that pays back is the money that I should cash out each time there is a winning even if it is only 5 dollars. If I start out with 500 dollars and if I win even a little money if nit a big jackpot, I think I should cash out and stop when I finish my beginning amount. Now, there is a temptation to put that little winnings trying to get a big amount.
